Waiting For Sunday is a musical duo in the Sacramento area featuring Kent Peterson and Manuel Luz playing fresh acoustic arrangements of all your favorite songs. Together, we reinterpret everything from seventies and eighties pop (Toto, Hall & Oates, Eagles) to today’s hits (Maroon 5, Coldplay, Train).
Kent Peterson (guitars and vocals) is a uniquely talented musician and artist best known as the front man for the northern California-based group, Blue Collar Men, a tribute to Styx and the Great Rock Classics. Blue Collar Men is a three-time Nominee for the Sacramento News & Review Sammie Awards and the KCRA A-List.
Manuel Luz (keyboards, percussion, and vocals) is a long-time musician in the Sacramento area with extensive album credits including four solo albums.
About the name. Both Kent and Manuel are worship leaders at different churches in the Sacramento area. So you pretty much know where they are on any given Sunday.
