One of the cool and unexpected perks of being a book author is that you’re often approached to provide an endorsement for new books. Often, it is the publisher who contacts me to see if I would be willing, but sometimes I have the honor of endorsing someone I know and respect. So I get the opportunity to read an author’s almost completed manuscript and provide them with a short paragraph of recommendation to potential readers.
I take this opportunity very seriously. I know that the author has invested blood, sweat, and tears into their project, just as I have with mine. I feel a sense of urgency, especially when I believe their work might benefit others and move the Kingdom of God forward. And it’s fun reading a manuscript, knowing it will become a book soon.
So I thought I would put forth a listing of books for which I’ve provided endorsements. And yes, I heartily recommend all of them.
